Multifamily & New Construction Railings in South Florida

For developers and general contractors: a railing partner who works with your project team from preconstruction to final punch list.

A railing package that keeps pace with the build

On a multifamily job, railings touch almost every trade schedule: balconies, breezeways, stair towers, ramps, pool decks, rooftops, and site fencing. When railing lags, it holds up inspections and certificates of occupancy. Fusion Welding & Fabrication FL is built around multifamily construction, and we run every railing package with one goal — stay in step with the rest of the build.

We partner with developers and general contractors from early planning through final punch list, working alongside your whole project team. You get one point of contact, clear communication, and a crew that shows up when we say we will. If we say it’ll be on site Thursday, it’s on site Thursday.

What’s included in our multifamily scope

  • Balcony and first-floor patio railings
  • Individual window railings on every level
  • Stair, ramp, and breezeway guardrails and handrails
  • Landscape railings and full property fencing, including fencing with access control
  • Rooftop privacy screens and rooftop railings
  • Custom elements such as LED-integrated railing and custom light poles

Every item on that list comes from projects shown on our site — see Cedarview Terrace, a five-story, 100-unit development where we handled the full railing and metalwork scope, and Surfside Crossing, a four-story, 53-home residential community.

Preconstruction: estimating, engineering, and shop drawings

Send us your plans and specs and we’ll build the estimate directly from them, so the number reflects the real scope rather than a rough allowance. Once awarded, each project is engineered by a licensed structural engineer to meet load and code requirements under the Florida Building Code.

Field measurements are taken early and shop drawings are prepared and approved before fabrication starts. That’s what makes installation straightforward: every piece is fabricated to fit your job exactly. For Miami-Dade and Broward projects in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, we coordinate product approval documentation with your team.

Fabrication and installation by our own team

Fabrication is handled in house at our Hollywood, FL shop, with each run welded to spec according to the approved shop drawings. Installation is done by our own crew — not a subcontracted installer — so there’s never confusion about who stands behind the work.

Working with your schedule

Our project manager coordinates timelines and site logistics with your superintendent, sequencing railing installs around floors, inspections, and other trades. You’ll know your project manager, and we’ll know your project.
